i have a spyware program but when my computer got infectied with the spyware my spyware sop working and it is conflickling with the norton i have on my computer. so i cant get norton to come off and whe i download another spyware program it finds all the spyware and everthing else but it wants me to pay for it do anybody know of free spyware removal program that will help me out. thank you

Hi
As a start i recommend that you download Firefox as a browser instead of your explorer (if you use explorer)….. it is Much safer.

After you downloaded Firefox i would recommend that you download the programs, update them, run a FULL scan (one program at a time) and delete the infections…
start with Ccleaner (no need to update)

delete everything the program finds…
This will take alot of crap from your computer and will make the next scans much faster.

First, make sure that you have an up to date antivirus program. If you don’t, then install AVG Antivirus (You should only have one antivirus program). Also, run scans using reputable antimalware programs. I would recommend using SpywareDoctor (Which you can get for free from the Google Pack website), and also ThreatFire. Both are made by the same company and I have seen them work miracles. Once installed, make sure that they are up to date, and run full scans.

you can go to http://www.cnet.com and download a program called, spybot search and destroy. It is a handy little program and it is a free download. Hope it helps.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool. Reboot the computer then try AVG as the other posts state. After removing Norton go to download.com and get a tool called CCleaner and run it before installing AVG. Dont pay for anything because the best tools are free. The CCleaner will remove any temp files and cookies that are related to the problems your having and allow AVG or other tools to work correctly. You may even run these tools in safe mode by hitting F8 on your keyboard when the computer is just turned on until it give you the options while the machine boots

No Single security application can prevent your PC from intrusion/getting infection.
If you are looking for some free stuff then I will reommend you to use Adware-SE and Spybot S&D. Also scan your PC with some good Anti-Virus. AVG is a good one. Use some good firewall application (like ZoneAlarm) to protect your PC from unauthorized access (in-coming and Out-going).
