Steps to help remove a virus:
Visit Microsoft Update and install the latest updates.
If you currently use antivirus software, visit the manufacturer’s Web site, update your software, and then perform a thorough scan of your computer.
If you don’t use antivirus software, subscribe to a service and scan your computer immediately.

Try doing a virus scan with your installed software (make sure it is updated). You can also try using free online virus scan such as

Alternatively, you can use download free antivirus software from Avast.

On the safer side, just switch to use Mozilla Firefox browser, imho, they are somehow safer.
