Hi all, I received the xvidsetup.exe error message when starting up the computer. I searched the web and got solutions that it might be a virus, however, my pc was shown clean after several scans. Is the xvidsetup.exe file safe and how can i get rid of the annoying error message?? Thanks for any help!!

I think anything thats (.exe ) is a virus. You should get some good anti-virus software that can tell for you.

Don’t worry about this. Xvidsetup.exe is not virus. It’s safe, Xvid is a popular video player.
But if you got error message claiming that Xvidsetup.exe is is missing or damaged, you have to pay attention to that. You can not use this program if you do not fix this error. You can try to reinstall it and see if it helps.
