my password got hacked I reported it to Yahoo security. Will I get more than the yahoo canned email response?

Will someone at yahoo actually be able to reset my password for me so I can access my account again? Will I get more than the canned email response from yahoo? In the meantime, I created a new account but I really would like access to my old account. Has anyone else experienced this problem and had a response from yahoo and success in accessing their old email account?

In case of a hacked account send a mail describing your problem to account-security-help @cc.yahoo-inc.com
Note: please delete the blank space between help and @ which I had to insert because Yahoo can’t handle long addresses. If this doesn’t help, call Yahoo: 1-408-349-1572, explain to a customer service person what happened. They will ask you to do certain things and then they compare your original info with the changed info. Within 24 hrs you should get your account back!

I’ve never been hacked, but I’ve forgotten my password. They usually reset it after I answer the security questions to something like ‘peanutsbacon412.’

But usually, Yahoo responds after that initial response.
The old yahoo did a lot.
Hope the new takes over.
Suggest you go to old ID.
Click on "forgot password" and answer the secret Q. Hope that has not changed.
Go to alternate email ID. See if a new password is generated. Take it from there. And let me know if it works.
