AdwareBot is the best and most reliable Trojan Virus removal tool – without a doubt! If you need a fast and thorough tool that is easy to use and cost the least, then there’s only one solution – AdwareBot: AdwareBot.com
I recently downloaded a something with a virus in it by mistake. I think it has adware and spyware. Lots of times when i am on the computer random adds will pop up when i dont have an inernet browser up.
The biggest problem is after having the computer looged in onto an account for about 15mins or more, i will have about 100 or more svchost.exe’s running when i check the processes. This uses up lots of memory %50 and sometimes i get low memory warnnings. Each svchost.exe is 800-900k.
My computer is:
vista 32x
asus p5q pro motherboard
intel core 2 duo 3.0mhz
BFG nvidia gtx 280
4gb ram
With low memory my computer is going slower, and i cant play games like crysis on max settings anymore or even play it very well at all.

Restart in safe mode with networking (reboot, tap the F8 key at boot-up).
Download this:
http://malwarebytes.org/
Update it (very important), and run a full scan.

If you find the path of svchost.exe in taskmanager other than C:\Windows\system32\svchost.exe, then it is definitely a malware.

Sorry to buck the trend here, but it is possible that you do not have a problem with svchost.
I have eight svchost running.one takes 24,000k.
looked in start>search files and also came up with 3 files.I can remember people on Q/ANS having 9 or 10 svchost running.
Do a 2 min scan with prevx at link below just to establish what you have and take it from there. Mine are also listed network serv/system/local network.

there are normally lots of scvhosts.exe
but they can become infected
download superantispyware and malwarebytes run both which will remove the virus
then think about increasing your virtuall memory which is in properties advanced bit on my computer c drive i think to something like 5000-9000, just add an extra few thousand to whats already there
