This is a better version to my post from before, my problem is still not fixed.

I have a windows xp operating system. I can’t give any other information as every time I go into control panel it crashes.

This is apparently a very dangerous virus.. (and not a joke as someone said in my post before) it can be used to control someones computer and bring back information to a hacker while trying to disable any anti virus by making everything crash.

I’d like to stop this as soon as possible!!!

Lets see, details:
-The computer will randomly shut down on its own giving me no option.
- spools.exe crashes nearly everything but mcafee
- even so mcafee can’t find the virus anyway (its apparently a hidden virus, I did my research)
-Safemode runs generally better then regularly running the computer, but things still crash.
- I’ve tried installing a new antivirus from a cd from a different computer. It crashed before I even installed it… =(
I’ve tried:

- System restore and last known good configuration I believe they’re infected too because the computer operates the same.
- Shutdown -a, and it does absolutely nothing….
- Safemode, read above for details.
- Internet explorer, it *opens* without crash on safemode, but I don’t get connection (yes I am on networking mode)

I know it’s by the same company, but people say Spyware Doctor With AntiVirus is good, but some people say PC Tools Internet Security sucks. which is better? are they the same with detection, removal and protection rates?

My CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy detected a SillyDl DJM trojan and it won’t allow me to remove it, rather says "cannot quaratine, administrative rights may be required to quaratine items." I’ve tried scanning with other antivirus including, norton 2009 but non of these detects the trojan. Does anyone know how to delete this, and how harmful is it? Thanks

I recently had this weird problem with my laptop. My 4GB thumb drive contains lots of stuff and folders, when I plug it in my laptop, I find that my folders were located to a "_" folder. There were also .exe (application) folders which are named after my folders in the _ folder. Sadly, even if I format my thumb drive, it continues to go on like this. So I reckon that the problem lies within my laptop. When I open the Task Manager, I see that 3 csrss.exe processes are running. I’m a bit scared to end them, because I know they are important processes, but it so happened that one of them is inside my Startup folder.

Right now, I left it as it was. It still infects my external drives and I have no idea how to fix it properly. My antivirus can’t detect it either.

If there’s any easy and manual way of clearing this and deleting the _ folder, please help me out. I’m going nuts with this.
I recently deleted the csrss.exe application in the Startup folder. My laptop didn’t crash. Now I’m wondering if my laptop is okay. Is it okay now that I deleted it?

my laptop has a spy ware called anti virus action, it doesn’t let me open the internet, so i cant download a malware or anything off the net and i tried installing it by putting it on my usb from another computer. It installed but it wont open. cant run it so theres no point. so i read something about deleting certain files from registry but i couldn’t really find the files it told to delete, so anyone have any solution that can help me besides contacting my insurance company…. pleaseeeeee

someone used my sisters email to sent everyone one her contact list an email that had a trojan virus and when it got dowloaded it also downloaded two antivirus that you had to pay for anti vermins and pest capture and our friend a compter technichan(i dont know how to spell it) said they were try to sell the antivirus so i was wodering if that was illegal and if i should sue or something.

I have tried spy hunter and spyware doctor…but antivirus 2009 is still on my comptuer! i know it’s a fake and scam…but i CANT get rid of it!!!! it still pops up when i turn my laptop on and brings up a blue screen, causing me to shut down constantly. anyone else know how to get rid of it? preferably, removal programs that are free… i am desperate pleaseee help!

I did a full scan and got 3 risks..all named trojan.brisvA!i
I have no idea how to remove this…..and when I look online for help…to see if I can get an explanation, i found several different explanations………..What is the most efficient way to get rid of this problem?
