If you keep getting pop-ups even though you have blocker turned on, that could be one sign. Another could be if you delete something and it keeps coming back.

If you have a virus your computer is going to tell you, in a way and if you dont notice it your not being attention. RUN SCANS every single day. Trojans will open random stuff delete files, or even slow you down. They can also hijack your antivirus! They can live in computers for weeks with out being detected, and sometimes the virus will steal your information. THATS when you REALLY KNOW. Hope this helped
