what is a good free virus/spyware removal program?

my computer is being attacked by trogans, spyware, viruses, malware, all that stuff.
but i don’t have any money to buy the software that can protect my things.
plus, my computer is running slow and i can’t do anything on it really (itunes, windows media won’t even play my songs!)
can someone please recommend me a free program or software that will get rid of all my problems and help my computer work faster?
along with steps, it will be greatly appreciated

Best anti-virus software that is free try out AVAST and for your internet security try out Commodo. they helped out my pc when virus’s were around

Use Avast, it uses small memory and has on-access-scan protection,. But I am recommending ESET, it is very light in memory usage and is definitely making your computer safe esp. when browsing, though, it is not free. AVG is also good but it uses a lot of memory.
