my computer keeps popping something up on the screan that says something about the trojan virus and downloading some program i was wondering if anyone knew where to get like a spyware remover (i believe thats what it is called) for free

Try Avira Anti-Virus ( http://www.free-av.com ) . It’s good and free, and will probably rid you of any problems with the PC. I recommend you download it, install it, do the updates, and then disconnect from the internet and let it perform a full scan of the system (preferably overnight, as it can last really long and will render your PC quite useless). Then it should be OK.

Are you sure your system is infected ?
when you get pop-up ? while surfing internet ? are problem in system other than pop-up.
but if your system is really infected then find Anti-Trojan not anti-virus.
you can use Nortan Anti-Trojan . anti-virus cann’t stop all trojans.and for spyware try "Search & Distroy" .

first of all, don’t ever buy or download any software that advertises in this way. think of it: if those people had installed a parasite in your computer to make you use their software, what software can it be? and if it requires money, what those people can do with your credit cards number?
